Polfactor SA is a long-term member of Factors Chain International, the largest international factors network, and the Polish Factors Association, gathering the largest Polish factoring companies.
Factors Chain International (FCI)
FCI is an international organization gathering the world's largest factoring companies and banks offering factoring services. Its main objective is to improve international trade relations by financing transactions by way of factoring, and providing related services such as solvency guarantees. At present, FCI members include 232 factors from 63 countries.
FCI helps its members gain a competitive edge in international trade finance services via the following:
- ability to use a worldwide network of renowned factoring companies
- a state-of-the-art on-line communication system ensuring cost-effective provision of services
- reliable legal structure protecting both exporters and importers
- standardized procedures ensuring uniform quality
- training programs
- international promotion focusing on positioning international factoring as the preferred financing tool.
Polish Factors Association (PZF)
The Polish Factors Association (PZF) is an institution gathering eleven largest factoring institutions operating in Poland. PZF was registered on 28 April 2006 and was created out of the Factoring Institutions Conference.
PZF objectives:
- promotion of factoring services by media cooperation, building a common PZF image, advertising the positive aspects of factoring services
- education (training programs for PZF members, seminars for businessmen)
- joint activities aimed at changing the legal environment.
